What areas do you cover?

We have a selection of flats and houses, also commercial properties to let throughout East Sussex. Typical areas include Polegate, Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill, Hailsham and St. Leonards. Our team also deals with vendors and buyers within certain areas of Kent - and further areas towards Brighton.

How will you market my property?

The short answer is: with a great deal of care and attention. In addition to Rightmove we recognise the value of local newspaper advertising, as well as using the telephone!

How do you arrange viewings?

If possible, we’ll arrange appointments on the same day as a potential buyer contacts us. Viewing appointments will always be accompanied by one of our team.

Do you charge me if my property doesn’t sell?

You’ll be liable for our fees only if we introduce a buyer who exchanges contracts. It’s therefore very much in our interests to sell your property promptly, with a clear focus on getting you the best price without compromise. It’s all about our attention to detail – and our expertise.

Do I sign a contract?

Yes. Our terms of business will be confirmed with you in writing before we start marketing your property.

I’m a landlord. What checks do you carry out on potential tenants?

Our Lettings Team undertakes comprehensive checking on all our applicants. These include references, such as employee and character references, credit checking and if necessary, we can ensure a guarantor for your tenants.

No tenant will take up occupancy in your property without meeting their full initial financial obligations to you and our confidence that they will be able to maintain rental payments.

Can you take care of all the property management issues?

Yes of course. Take a look at our Fully Managed Property Services page. As a busy landlord, you’ll know that there are many different aspects to renting your property. We’ll take care of all the property maintenance, rental reviews, end-of-tenancy issues – and everything in between. We also offer Tenant Find services.

I’m a commercial tenant looking for a lease. What do I need to know?

We can definitely help you here. We have a wide variety of commercial properties on our books. Don’t forget to ask us about service charges, as these can be quite steep. Also, talk to us about an initial rent-free period; this period could cover any fitting out that the property needs.
